Title:    City Rain

Description:    This abstract painting was an experiment in colour, technique and style, all of which were very different from my love of painting mountains, snow and nature.

I found the vibrancy and contrast of the colours captivating – the way the violet transitions from nearly black to a soft white, the sharp edges and blended background.

It has been fascinating to hear what people see in this painting – waterfalls, buildings, gem stones, an ethereal being… No matter what you see, there is no disputing that it draws you in, enabling it to speak to you.
